Art-à-Porter is a live creative event in front of an audience, where artists exchange their canvases for a garment worn by a model. This performance blends design and the visual arts. The audience thus has the opportunity to observe the creative process in real time and to see the garments transform into living works of art.
Driven by a passion for fashion and the visual arts, Émilie Grace Lavoie conceives and co-organizes Art-à-Porter. The event was first presented in 2014 at the Université de Moncton, then at the Works Art & Design Festival in Edmonton in 2017. It was also hosted at the Edmundston Arts Centre in 2016. Nearly ten years later, in 2025, the event returns and is set to take place again with its third edition on November 25, 2026.
