Déjeun'art is a friendly event that invites the entire community to gather over coffee and a muffin to discover an artist's world. This initiative aims to promote the arts and highlight the work of local creators.

At this year's event, come meet Shayne Michael Thériault and immerse yourself in her artistic world. She'll share her creative process, her inspirations, and her career journey with you. This event fosters exchanges, sparks curiosity, and encourages dialogue between the audience and the artists.

A member of the Wolastoqiyik First Nation of Madawaska, New Brunswick, Shayne Michael is Wolastoqew, Acadian, an author, and a translator. He studied theater at the University of Moncton before earning his bachelor's degree in directing and playwriting at Laval University. Writing came late in his career. His writing process is rooted in the body and movement. His first poetry collection, *Fif et sauvage*, was published by Éditions Perce-Neige in 2020. The following year, the collection won the Prix Voix autochtones in the "Poetry Published in French" category. In 2024, her second book, a children's documentary titled *Nos Racines*, published by Hannenorak, was selected as the winner of the 6th edition of the "One City, One Book, One Project" initiative by Quebec City, a UNESCO City of Literature. He is also a screenwriter and actor for the fictional web series *Enfant de Méduse, Wolastoqey*, which has been airing on ICI TOUT.TV since February 2026.
