Karine Basque and Atlantic Sinfonia - A Tribute to Édith Piaf

In spring 2025, singer Karine Basque was invited by conductor Richard Hornby to perform a selection of Édith Piaf's iconic songs as part of the concert Vive La France with the Fredericton Symphony Orchestra.

Following a sold-out performance at the Fredericton Playhouse, the production was further developed in collaboration with Atlantic Sinfonia, Fredericton's professional chamber orchestra, arranged for string ensemble and accordion.

In fall 2026, Piaf takes the road.
Karine Basque and Atlantic Sinfonia will present a moving tribute to one of the greatest voices of French chanson, featuring exceptional classical musicians and timeless Piaf classics.
