APRÈS, ON VA OÙ? - Michel Rivard
solo musical theater
During the two (symbolic) weeks that the magnificent magnolia blossoms illuminate his bedroom window,
"the man who resembles me" (74 years old) questions his life, before and after death, confronting his doubts and certainties.
Between a doctor's appointment and choosing an urn from a catalog, between his first love and a walk in the forest with his seven-year-old grandson, "the man who resembles me" monologues, waxes poetic, and sings about his search for something "greater than himself."
