Déjeun'art is a friendly event that invites the entire community to gather over coffee and a muffin to discover an artist's world. This initiative aims to promote the arts and highlight the work of local creators. At this event, come meet Stéphanie Couturier and immerse yourself in her artistic world. She'll share her creative process, her inspirations, and her career journey.
Stéphanie is a millennial who grew up in the forests of northwestern New Brunswick. After starting her young adult life as a nurse, she decided to found La Vie en Verre in the midst of the pandemic. Her creations seemed to bring color and clarity to people's lives during this time of uncertainty. This proves that there are many ways to support and inspire the world.
As a self-taught artist, she has developed a style characterized by abstract and contemporary forms. She draws inspiration from the human experience, the beauty of nature, and its decline. Her creations are available in various Canadian boutiques as well as at Fabrique 1840 at La Maison Simons. She also operates her own online store, where she regularly introduces new collections. From time to time, she shares her knowledge by teaching classes at her community's arts center and serving as a mentor in her field.
